Electrical Contractor National Code Simplified
  • 8 or 24-Hour
  • $70 Registration Fee
  • Current National Electric Code Book required

This class is offered only during code change years.

ARC Flash
This seminar includes eight hours of continuing education plus will be added to your licensure as an additional certification.

Electrical Contractor License Preparation
  • $180 Registration Fee
  • Advanced Registration Required

Electrical Inspector - Level 1-3
These courses are designed to provide current electrical inspectors or someone wanting to get a job with an inspection department with updated information on the latest changes in the National Electric Code, NC Electric Code, and local utility company requirements.  Each course reviews new materials and procedures, as well as related code requirements.

Level 1

A 40-hour course that can be used as a prep to get your limited electrical license. It examines Articles 100, 110, 210, 215, 220, 225, 230 and 240.

Level 2

A 30-hour course that includes topics from Articles 250, 280, 285, 310, 314, 320, 322, 330, 332, 334, 336, 338, 340, 342, 344, 348, 352, 354, 356, 358, 362, 376, 386, 392 and 527.

Level 3

A 30-hour course that covers Articles 312, 384, 400, 404, 410, 422, 424, 427, 430, 440, 445, 450, 480, 490, 500, 501, 502, 504, 511, 513, 514, 517, 600, 620, 680, 700 and 725.

Photovoltaics for the Electrician
Electrical contractors, engineers, suppliers, designers and those wishing to have a better understanding of how we use the sun to make electricity should attend this twelve-hour course. This class is an in-depth presentation on the design and installation of photovoltaic systems and the National Electrical Code (2011). This course prepares you to take the next step in energy conservation.  Remember, the sun is still free and the cleanest source of renewal energy on the planet.
