The GENUP (formerly known as Mandatory Update) is developed by the NC Real Estate Commission each year.

A real estate elective course designed to address some of the most commonly asked questions by real estate licensees as published by the NC Real Estate Commission in their publication titled Real Estate Bulletin. These continuing education courses are normally taught during the spring semester.

Focus of this CE course is on the conduct of REALTORS , the Articles & Standards of Practice as found in the REALTOR Code of Ethics. It also addresses the Professional Standards Enforcement Mechanism allowed for in the NAR “Code of Ethics & Arbitration” manual.
