Financial Aid Census Date

Census refers to the day a snapshot is taken of a student’s registration for financial aid purposes. There is a census date for each semester.

If you increase your enrollment level after the census date, your aid will not be increased*. This means a student who is enrolled in 10 credits as of the census date, and who later adds a 2 credit hour class, will not have his/her grant aid adjusted upward to the full-time level. Rather, the aid will remain at the 3/4-time level.

Be sure you are fully registered by this date. Courses added after this date will not be considered for financial aid eligibility.

2026-2027 Academic Year Census Dates

• Fall 2026: August 26, 2026
• Spring 2027: January 20, 2027
• Summer: May 27, 2027

2026-2027 Bookstore Charging dates:

• Fall 2026: July 22 – September 10, 2026
• Spring 2027: December 23, 2026 – February 2, 2027
• Summer 2027: May 14 – 30, 2027

Fall 2026 Financial Aid Refund date:

Financial aid refunds are tentatively scheduled to go out on September 18 by the end of the business day via BankMobile for courses with an August start date. Please remember if you have a minimester course (October 21 start date), these will not be funded until after the course begins and attendance is verified.
