Graduation Fair: Cap, Gown, Tassel
The Graduation Fairs for December Commencement will be drive-through events.
To participate in the fall Graduation Ceremony, please plan to attend one of the Graduation Fairs:
- Tuesday, December 8 (North Campus, Salisbury) – 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 9 (South Campus, Concord) – 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
Cap, Gown, Tassel
Each curriculum graduate who is participating in the graduation ceremony will receive a cap, gown, and tassel. Curriculum students have a navy blue cap and gown.
GED graduates need to purchase black caps and gowns. Contact Jay Taylor for more information.
College curriculum graduates who have earned a program grade-point average of 3.5 or above in their diploma or degree program (with all grades “C” or higher) will receive a gold cord when they pick up their cap and gown.
No decorative attachments may be worn on your gown. Students who are members of the recognized honor societies Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, or Sigma Alpha Pi, may wear appropriate pins and stoles.
Remember to bring your photo ID.
To participate in the graduation ceremony, submit the Graduation Ceremony Registration form.
If you intent to participate in Commencement, but are not in the area or unable to attend one of the Graduation Fairs, contact email@example.com to make alternate plans to pick up your graduation regalia.
