Registration Dates

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College operates under the semester system and uses an online course scheduling tool known as Student Self-Service by logging in to Self-Service. Registration is a process by which students meet with or communicate with an advisor to build a course plan. We encourage students to meet with an advisor prior to registering for classes to ensure students have developed the educational plan for their program of study.

Priority Registration – For Currently Enrolled Students

Currently enrolled students have the opportunity to take advantage of a one-week priority registration for fall, spring and summer. Our traditional start dates for priority registration for currently enrolled students begin April 1 of each year for summer and fall semesters simultaneously, and begin November 1 of each year for the spring semester.

Open Registration – For Returning and New Students

Any returning student or new student will be able to register for classes beginning April 8 of each year for summer and fall semesters simultaneously, and November 8 of each year for the spring semester.
